Governing with a turgid economy is very fucking difficult.

The Tories were shit and, sadly, Labour aren't doing any better.

Both parties deserve to be scrutinised, but they are leaning heavily to the right in a desperate bid to win votes due to their respective failures to deliver growth.

Because he's a migrant
Why does every picture of Shabana Mahmood make her look like she's scheming to kill Paddington?

This is a new low from a govt plumbing the depths of performative cruelty in hopes that the public won’t notice they have no answers to the real issues facing this country

A sensible, humane govt would focus on safe routes to prevent people making dangerous small boat crossings

What's more remarkable about Harry Kane's goal record is that he wears Skechers. A brand that's usually associated with things such as doing the weekly big shop, tip runs, visiting an elderly relative in a care home and having a stroll round a local garden centre.

Switching to evening dialysis sessions has certainly been a positive change, but I am not looking forward to going out in cold weather 3 nights a week.

Guess what? If Labour removed every asylum seeker from this country tomorrow the people they tried to pacify would still vote Reform. Why would they vote for the followers when they could elect the leader? And their towns would still be shit towns

Here’s what you won’t hear from some commentators on social media: in the year to October, London recorded 10,000 fewer violent crimes leading to injury than it did in the twelve months before I was elected.

'London is world's best city - people claiming it's lawless hate its success'
'The fact that London has again been crowned greatest city in the world disproves everything our critics claim, and they can’t stand it', the London Mayor Sadiq Khan writes

England finish the World Cup qualifying stage with a perfect record.

Eight games, eight wins, 22 goals scored, zero conceded.

Harry Kane's second-half double ensured victory for Thomas Tuchel's side over Albania, who tested Dean Henderson on a few occasions.

Fair play to Phil Foden for being on the pitch while Marcus Rashford played that incredible cross to Harry Kane

Not everyone is unhappy about the Government's descent into anti-refugee politics

The reason why the far right didn’t immediately receive a rise in support after the 2008 economic crash was because there was a mutual understanding (almost an unwritten agreement) across the leading political parties and news outlets that their views were immoral.
The Labour Government reeling off the same far-right talking points on immigration. And look who is celebrating. The far-right.

There is a political alternative that won’t ever scapegoat those fleeing war, persecution and torture
