I can't overstate how important it is to get an audience invested in your characters early in a story. I feel like so many shows are excited to show off this world they built, they forget to establish who anybody is or why we should care.

I have been printing these out and leaving them lying around on desks in the office. Nobody throws receipts away in offices just in case they are important.

just gonna throw out a quick reminder that in America police kill a yearly average of 3 civilians per day, routinely in situations very similar to these ICE killings, and decades of explicit support for police impunity by US politicians is why ICE feels theyre able to get away with this right now
