ehhhh i don't really consider it great when posts randomly and immediately blow up way beyond your online sphere LOL. it mostly leads to people getting weird or giving you the wrong kind of attention in my experience.

also there's something about the idea of 18 being considered An Adult while everyone older than you still treats you like a child so your 20s become you very quickly trying to figure out what "be an adult" means and eventually realizing no one fucking knows. but it matters a lot for a little bit π

i haven't really felt like that personally, but i understand where it comes from, having felt that external pressure myself and witnessing former friends succumb to this as they move into different life stages or social groups or w/e. it's just weird to see it voiced so plainly online sometimes LOL
