She deleted the prior accounts and started over with a new oc. Trying to keep this up to date because it rebrands often after getting caught over and over again.

Hi so, adding on to this thread because it is doing it AGAIN to me and to my main, very personal oc. @/elatedhysteria.bsky.social has a pattern of it choosing to make copies of people's characters it's harassing, and then sexualizing them for attention. JUST like it did to joel and ry.

there’s a lot of depreciated lore in that fic,mainly bc I wrote it during 5.3 and despite stealth edits pre-Aph being my Azem. Much has changed since then to render it noncanon but i maintain the big debate over Emet is one of the best things I’ve ever written for xiv and i need to revise it. like 😂

my main thing regardless is i rly don’t like being able to tell who the writer doesn’t like from a fic, as opposed to who their characters don’t like. that’s the fine line b/w legit conflict and bashfic to me. I love friction w characters but I need organic free range IC beef not the writer’s.

#2 is SUCH a pain point bc I tend to love npcs who for whatever reason (usually an unflattering story reveal) always end up the fandom Hate Sink and dumped for whoever the popular white guy npc is, and 99% of fic in fav’s ship tag is a bashfest abt how They Did FemPC Wrong But She Got a Better Man.

1) that i hate the last line of that post so badly bc it just reinforces the “endgame” rhetoric I hate so much in shipping culture
2) pls do not make every ex into a 2D caricature whose sole purpose is a punching bag to prop up whatever the current ship is.

Not to make this about fandom (I'm making this about fandom), but this is why I've never liked the concept of an "endgame" ship. Sometimes people aren't meant for "til death do us part" and all that, and that's both good and necessary! Not every relationship is meant to be forever!
