I can't stop thinking about Mr Rogers saying - ‘Look for the helpers' when all seems hopeless. Is that why Trump’s ICE is killing the helpers - to keep us hopeless? It's most definitely feels like warning to let us know that none of us are safe.

If you told my college hippie self 20 years ago that I would consistently agree with Bill Kristol on many issues about a Republican administration, I would die laughing.
Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

Policing as an institution must be abolished at every level. You can't reform a system that allows local PD to brutalize marginalized people, and you can't reform one that allows federal police to execute people in the streets.
