Hi, I spent several weeks testing five AI browsers to see if they could help me buy a pair of New Balances, sort my emails, rip transcripts from YouTube videos, and a whole bunch of other scenarios.

They're not great, Bob.

KARL: Wait a minute. I've gotta stop you. The Walmart package this year contains much less than the one last year. That's why the price is less.

a big runoff last night, in New Orleans:

Calvin Duncan was exonerated after spending *28 years* in prison; he tried to get his own case records from the New Orleans city clerk—but the office dragged its feet.

So Duncan ran to become city clerk himself, and yesterday ousted the incumbent.

Donald Trump’s presidency hinges on loyalty, which depends on the perception of power. As a lame duck, that perception is already eroding — and the Epstein scandal is now accelerating it.

OK seriously, this Thiel quote is absolutely bonkers coming from him. This is one of those statements that absolutely must go viral, but it hasn't yet.

I brought it over here because no one else has posted it yet. Thiel privately admitted the far right's core weakness.
Wow: Peter Thiel in a private 2020 email argued that capitalism has failed young Americans, and so this is why they have become socialist.

This is almost literally Zohran Mamdani's campaign message.

The email was posted to Xitter by his friend VC Chamath Palihapitiya.

The factional grifters will hate this, but the Mamdani-Spanberger-Sherrill axis actually suggests the outlines of a broad, emerging Dem coalition organized around both anti-Trump *and* affordability politics, not a party bitterly divided against itself.
These big wins will embolden Dems to take on Trump's lawbreaking and show there's a price for GOP enabling of him. Folks hate to hear this, but normal patterns are asserting themselves: Liberalism isn't dead, Rs are likely to lose in 2026, and Trump is really unpopular, not a magical exception.

Intuit, the makers of TurboTax, bribed Trump, so Trump gave them what they want.

But to be clear, Intuit has been bribing politicians on both sides for years, which is why it took so long to get Direct File in the first place.

90% of political coverage should be telling voters what Ds and Rs do when they wield power.

Yes Dems can be feckless and performative but if you're a low-information voter who likes it when poor kids eat, you should just vote Dem and not overthink it. Pundits are weirdly allergic to saying this.
