Just walked through a big anti-ICE highschool protest. Festive atmosphere, students walking back and forth at crosswalks holding signs and shouting "Fuck ICE." Passing cars vigorously honking their approval. Warms my heart, truly.

If you are doing this you can be prosecuted, regardless of governmental "support." This is a clear violation of human rights and can be pursued in any court that will hear it. Shame America doesn't have an opposition party.

Smart glasses should have to emit some kind of noise while recording. They're already incompatible with privacy standards in many countries where phone camera have to make noise when taking photos. There's little reason for mass, surreptitious recording in public space.

The cold that first showed on Friday afternoon finally hit critical mass last night. I felt properly sick, slept 12 hours, and now I feel a lot better other than feeling very drained because all my energy is still being spent on snot generation.

Dark Souls post. Uh, should I be concerned the Fire Maiden just died? I got super excited I found a second Fire Soul so I brought it back to her and she was dead. Hoping I can still upgrade the ol' Estus Flask because this game is cruel in ways later FromSoft games aren't.

This is important rhetoric. If America is to survive the leaders of ICE and DHS have to be acknowledged as criminals and be held accountable. They can't just slip back into the background, "disgraced," just so they can pop back up to resume their racist, criminal mission.
Rep. Delia Ramirez to DHS officials: "I have as much respect for you as I do for the last white men who put on masks to terrorize communities of color. I have no respect for the inheritors of the Klanhood and the slave patrol. Those activities were criminal and so are yours."

Dark Souls, god there is so much game here. Dumps you straight into a dizzying, vertiginous maze and I see all those little shitkicker details (weapon degradation, difficulty swinging weapons in tight spaces etc.) are all here with bells on. This will test my life/gaming balance.
