Went to a preview of the Christkindlmarkt and it was very nice. It's really lovely when it isn't thronged with bodies. Probably won't head to the downtown one again this season but I might drop by the Wrigleyville one now and then.

This sucks. This was my local theater when I lived in Louisville and while they weren't perfect, they did try to maintain some repertory and local programing and that's more than anyone else was doing, at least until Speed opened a dedicated art cinema. A real loss.

The most frustrating thing when setting up my C4 was that it kept popping new picture modes when I'd play a slightly different format (HDR enabled disc versus a non-HDR disc versus a Blu versus streaming etc.) and I'd have to turn off everything again.
Okay. Here are the TV settings you need to get the best picture possible out of an LG OLED. Mine is a C4--on older models some of the names are different. (If I have time some time I'll get the older setting names from a CX.)

Just ate a banana but I took appropriate measures to preserve my masculinity by smooshing it up into a paste and putting it in a turkey baster and then sliding that deep into my throat. So no one could say it looked like I was sucking a dick or whatever.
