“My strength returns to me with my cup of coffee and reading the psalms.”

Helicopters have been flying above my apartment every evening since Renee Good’s murder. I know it’s because my community is protesting at the field office 1.6 miles from my apartment.

I can’t help but pray for my community. Please continue to pray.

O God turn hearts of stone, to hearts of flesh.

A prayer of lament I think accurately portrays a Christian in the United States at this time in history. By @deonkj.bsky.social

Wonder if I could donate a flag pole to my church and say “It’s our patroness…” Think they’d notice?

No way?! What a cute couple… I’m happy they found love before the end…

See? It’s just always there.

They will have their fill.

Eternal rest grant unto Renee, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen

O Holy Mother of God, entreat your Son for His mercy on us. Welcome Renee into the fold of your mantle. Amen

“You should have just complied,” said in smug condescension, is always something said by a person who has deluded themselves into thinking they are above being told to comply at gunpoint.

Your confidence brings me great hope, Fr. Chris. Thanks. I think I just took my first full breath in hours actually.

Me too, I was happy mine shared it in solidarity with him. I pray it starts a trend because this is the Holy Spirit at work. Our clergy cannot be afraid to discuss sin, and the moral and spiritual injury it is causing.

Truly. I feel like the regime has declared war on my body, high jacked my religion while declaring war on its true practice, and is making war on my neighbors.

It is difficult to focus on the joyful things… but by the grace of God… 🙏🏼

Kinda sucks how one day you’ll post stuff like “does the Grinch use the toilet?” and then the next it has to be “I reject those who worship death”

In a world governed by the wicked, the mighty, & by their shared project of tyranny, we remember this season of Epiphany that our God was born helpless, with parents running from state persecution, celebrated by foreigners, who gave him the effects of his burial before he would see his 1st sunrise.
