Drugs, porn and prostitution should all be legal and easy to access for people of legal age. However it should all be regulated and taxed out the wazoo.
Users should be helped, not criminalised.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Someone slap me please. My brain is all excited about the possibilities of rampant consumerism this time of year and it’s annoying me.

As I was explaining to someone, how on earth is your teen supposed to responsibly handle a change from "no internet" to "internet" as they turn 18?
A lot of people who ban the internet are just hoping to not deal with the problem as opposed to talking about safety, content issues etc
Society either treats teens as precious innocents who should know nothing of the adult world (when it comes to banning books and internet access) or as grown adults, but only in the context of criminalizing or sexualizing them.

Is this a joke website set up to troll Mr Streeting? Because if it's for real I... I don't even know anymore. I am laughing in a slightly unhinged way. I need more coffee.

2. My left leg does all the work this is very inconvenient.

This a big deal: "China’s carbon dioxide emissions have been flat or falling for 18 months"

China's economy has grown by ~5% in the last year, so this comprehensively debunks the idea (again) that emissions are tied to growth. So yes, faster progress needed, but this is how you turn the corner.
China’s CO2 emissions have been flat or falling for past 18 months, analysis finds
World’s biggest polluter on track to hit peak emissions target early but miss goal for cutting carbon intensity

So love it when in the time it takes me to pick up my phone, navigate to the supermarket app, and open it…I forget what it was for.

One of the things I often hear guys complain about when it comes to dating is that they got rejected (or sometimes ghosted) without understanding why.

Here are 3 possibilities to consider...

I think I would really enjoy having a shoulder cat for about a day. Then the muscle fatigue etc would set in.

It would be a glorious day though.

A main character is called Elijah and I’ve never found a name so uncomfortable to read. It’s used a lot, and my brain has seized on it as a tongue twister.

Which is weird because it’s not like this is the first ever character with this name I’ve read.

This one seems to have got a lot of people who don't like cars very het up. They're arguing "well fine, fit them with trackers, why should drivers get away with speeding etc". This is a COLLOSAL mistake, and a perfect example of how you really need to think about unintended consequences first. 🧵
Year one: "We can work it out as an estimate"
Year two: "Oh, look, lots of people are dodging the system!"
Year three: "We need to fit mandatory trackers to every car in the country."
Year four plus: "Why shouldn't tracker data be used in evidence? What have people got to hide?"
I don’t think think “estimated road use” is right approach - at the least drivers should have the *option* of getting a black box fitted that just tracks their EVs usage, but come on, Mel, impersonate a serious politician!

I’d like to reuse / repurpose these, but I feel silly for the failed start pages. What should I do?
