100%. Why do people constantly think we can't hold corporations to account? If they are doing something dangerous, they need to fall in line or FAFO, really. And it's so far past time to fix this.

Yes it can. Hold the networks to more robust standards of moderation backed by law. If X can't clear up its integration with Grok that allows creation of illegal explicit materials, block it outright. And create social media literacy resources to teach people about the potential dangers of it.

This is one of the many reasons I am against the proposed social media ban for under sixteens. It tacitly accepts harmful content on social media as unstoppable and assumes older people aren't affected, which is wrong.

You look at every culture that's ever existed and the running theme is everyone pretty much just wants to play/dance to music, make art, eat stewed meat wrapped in flat bread, and tell stories about the shapes we find in the stars. Somehow we turned that into wars and overtime and profit margins.
My problem with everything is that I know For A Fact that the purpose of life is frivolity. It is to fool around & pursue joy.
