My two cents on the whole Racism In Fantasy thing is that 1. I don’t believe Tolkien saw the orcs as Africans, I’ve always read them as Norse and/or The English Factory Worker. 2. Giving Elves, Dwarves etc. inherent traits, or even a range of traits to choose from, is the whole point of playing one.
