I know that, if the Yankees or Dodgers sign him, he’ll win a Nobel Prize in literature, so I think the Red Sox should sign Murakami.
One thing I'm starting to notice: There seems to be a conventional wisdom coalescing that Munetaka Murakami is just going to be a terrible hitter in MLB, and I'd hold off on the hot takes I'm seeing until we actually see how MLB values him.
