Within the context of the Mario movies, Mario has known Bowser for like... 15 minutes. And like yeah, sure, he tried to kill him, which is not nothing, but the same can be said for Luigi. Mario's just a jerk, I guess.
Mario Galaxy movie, just because chris pratt is voicing the character doesn't mean mario has to be written as an asshole.

Oh one more thing about the Mario movie before I go back to posting about Lorcana or whatever.
I'm glad to see Luigi more proactive in the trailer. He was a highlight in the first movie but was barely in it despite it being the Super Mario BROS Movie.

I liked the first Super Mario Bros Movie in so far as I liked seeing colorful images of my favorite characters on the big screen but the story and writing was pretty bad. The cast was mostly fine but they weren't given much to work with. So I really don't have much of an opinion on this new one yet.

Brie Larson is funny casting because there's a subset of very toxic, angry men who will not be happy about it and like... fuck those guys.

I intended to record a box opening for this today but it turns out that my house and lifestyle is not very conducive to that, it seems. Maybe tomorrow.

This is fascinating. I assume they'll still own the film but I wonder if this means they can't use the characters in any other capacity anymore like on merch or the theme parks.
