Maintenance crew for my apartment was 2 hours late from schedulded time after making me wake up 4 hours early. To repair fucked up shoddy construction that is not my fault and violates fire codes and floods my gd desk area. On my only day off for the next 11 days. Fkn love that for me.

When (often several people) make an accusation, some people get really aggressive about providing more proof.
But when the ONE accused simply goes 'I didn't do it and it's fine now :)' & doesn't provide ANY proof, it's taken at face value by those same people.

Every six months or so an event shakes the cage enough to have me reflect.
I appreciate the little sanity checks. But I also hate remembering how people WILL embrace objectively terrible popular people in the hopes of boosting themselves.
Thankfully these checks have been happening less and less.

I am envious of younger generations because they have SO MUCH at their fingertips ALWAYS. For millenials it was considered a schedule altering event just to see something like this.
There was a real fear that, if you didn't record something on VHS, you'd never see it again. It'd be Gone Forever.
