Shoutout to Okada for growing so much as an open field tackler in half a season.

Week 1, he gets timid at the point of attack & gives up outside leverage as the force defender. He should be attacking the outside shoulder knowing he has help inside. Gives up 1st down on 3rd & 7.

Derick Hall and Big Cat racing to the quarterback. The terminator tags Stafford first with a QB knockdown and forces an errant throw outside for an incompletion.

Derick Hall plays a shade inside in 3pt stance with Emmanwori capping off the edge against a heavy set. Hall takes on the combo block and drives the RT back into the RB’s gap, forcing him to stop and cutback towards defensive help for a gang tackle.

You simply cannot block Derick Hall 1:1 with a TE. They can’t anchor down on him at all.

DLaw is hooping in the backfield with quickness and power. It’s incredible Stafford got this off.

Murphy staying alert and preventing an out of structure explosive.

Derick Hall driving the TE 4 yards back and into the RB’s rush lane before making the tackle. Terminator.

Also watch Big Cat as he rag dolls the guard once he confirms the run. DL playing like rabid dogs.

JSN housecall opportunity missed due to Sam staring down his first read who never got open but firing it to him anyway.

This was the missed def. holding call but that didn’t matter wrt Sam’s decision making, safety still robbed the hook which he never saw coming.
#1

Cover 1 Robber, Has time. Stares down Kupp, rifles with an unstable base to a covered receiver. Stabilize and work to the cleaner side of the pocket, but ball should realistically be out to K9 for a minimal gain before the pocket is that muddy.

The smartest 12 you know trying to gaslight fans into believing yesterday’s turnovers were uncharacteristic of what this offense (and Sam) has done all season is incredibly funny

Chenna is so good at making blockers miss in the open field. Does a hesi and gets the FB to whiff. Gets to RB in backfield.

On the other side, two blockers try to knock Tank down but he keeps his balance against the chop and shove. Cleans up the RB and prevents the touchdown.

Chenna Nwosu hitting the hesi move to setup the RT inside then swipes the outside arm down and inside to take complete leverage. RT eats dirt after Chenna defeats the block and almost gets the sack.

The pressure forces Brissett to scramble and hurry his throw for a near INT.

Derick Hall displaces McBride as he tries to chip and then thumps the pulling guard into next week.

Big Cat w the awareness to cut off the scramble lane up the pocket and displays high effort to give chase on the check down and finishes the TE down the sideline.

Granted 32 year old Davante Adams’ oblique injury was non-contact and likely less severe, 24 year old Derick Hall sat on 3 weeks rest for his oblique.

I don’t think Adams plays, but if he does, it will be in a limited decoy role. (this take surely will not backfire)
