I’ll continue reviewing Sam Darnold’s Dropped INTs with the same Sam-External-Both format to see if there is a through line.
So far Sam has a problem with losing track of defenders while zeroing onto his #1 WR late or pressured.

Guys, I don’t think Walker had a good game last Sunday.
I think he had a fine game. He was processing well enough but the rams defense played better.
But I’m seeing the Walker detractors say he had a good game. And I think it was just because of the last scoring drive.
Am I the problem here?

I hate GY counter at the NFL level. TEs can’t hit moving targets and guards are too slow to out run the TE.

This wasn’t one bad game by Sam. It has been a slow regression since the Texans game.
I hope Sam pulls up from this free fall. But this is why improving the run game is important. And that starts with picking your RB1 and leaving the other as a pure spell player.
