Seattle was lucky this year but every SB team is lucky. You have to be lucky and good at the same time to last that far into winter. The 2013 team was pretty lucky!

him being moved to safety in philly, and getting to play well before his body finally gave up on him, was cool because he was probably going to move to safety in his late 20s/early 30s so at least we kinda saw a speedrun of his career

The best defensive lineman between the two teams is Michael Bennett but the 2025 defense has the better line overall than the 2013 defense imo.
2025 defense probably has better pure cover talent from its CBs but Sherm still the best CB.
2013 middle 5 of the back 7 vastly superior imo.
