Tariq Woolen is younger than Josh Jobe.

Riq Woolen's 2025 registered the 3rd lowest YPCS of all outside CBs since 2018 (min. 20 targets)

i understand there's a weighing the positives vs the negatives with him w/r/t extension considerations but have we properly contended with just how positive the positives are

even though Ridley Scott's napoleon was a massive let down, the scope and prod value still gives it this watchability and grandness to it

We knew our little Michael was different when all he wanted for every Christmas was a new blitz set, or a book about blitzes, or posters about blitzes, or even a sketchbook. To draw his blitzes in.

1) Trade away the QB that had been papering over your awful OL
2) Trade away your ridiculously athletic X receiver then cut your aging but wiley Y
3) Sign the QB whose 2 most recent games were being bludgeoned behind a slightly better OL
.
.
.
4) Win the SB as a Top 5 all-time team
i cant believe john schneider got away with it

Nick Emmanwori identifying and rerouting into a match on his #2 as the vertical hook of cover-2 in week 7 of his rookie year versus week 22 of his rookie year (falls off late in 2nd clip but ball is out -- real time improvement)

An ex. of how target charting for zone is so messy. 4 guys responsible for this completion based on the rules of the cov (those aren't static either!), but it's charted with only one person at fault (and that will differ site to site)

Has to be some sort of primary/secondary/shared sub categories.
February 10, 2026 at 6:24 PM
The mad dash on the other site to synthesize what makes this defense tick, the over-intellectualizing of a rush-4 spot drop zone defense -- things we were told were backwards just a couple seasons ago -- oo boy.

as talent goes up, scheme complexity goes down, coaching matters more. the end

The LOB bottles up Stafford 3/3 times but the LAR run game might've popped on them, at least for 2012/2013. Darkside very much equipped to beat Harbaugh 9ers too though.

SEA uses cover-3 to accent the fact they don't match very much in Quarters to take care of problem routes.

They get quick game here so doesn't apply, but Seattle is rotating into weak buzz (safety into weak hook) versus trips, opposed strong buzz, which has been their typical pattern.

Change up.

please sell to a billionaire whose ghoul levels are certified normal. please don't sell to a superghoul. please let it be a regular, normal ghoul
I am terrified of Elon somehow getting the idea to buy the Seahawks

I don't have time to explain but #Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald is the first defensive playcaller in Superbowl history to design a gameplan that passes the Bechtold Test.

Emman from the vertical hook of c2 protecting the dig area contributing to this coverage sack.

Recognizes his primary read is vertically stemming inside and his outside threat is up as well. QB looking at him --> doesn't freeze, keeps gaining diagonal depth.

Marked development in this area!
