SAM DARNOLD: "How about a little pick in the soup-y?"

Every all-time great defense plays in a lopsided Super Bowl.

1985 Bears won 46-10, 2013 Seahawks won 43-8, last year's Eagles won 40-22, this year's Seahawks won 29-13, 2000 Ravens won 34-7, 2002 Bucs won 48-21.

I get it when casuals call it boring. Regular fans who hate defense should just cope.

You were amazing, Mookie.

So awesome to see your incredible work ethic in person. You are one of one, my friend.

It's been a week and it has barely sunk in that I got to cover a Seahawks Super Bowl win in my hometown.

I cannot properly express what a great experience that was. I suppose the perfect ending would've been to cover the game in-person but not doing so allowed me to just be a fan for a day.

She invented a whole new slur in 2026. I anticipate her new podcast.

I'm way late on this but the arrangement on Charlie Puth's national anthem was one of the best I've heard in years.

In the span of 3 years, AJ Barner has won a national title with Michigan, a Super Bowl with the Seahawks, and even his old school (Indiana) just won the CFP national title.
AJ Barner was born to be in a championship parade. All the vibes.

Got someone on the other app insisting to me that Sam Darnold is now in Pro Football Hall of Fame talk.

I think we found the one Seahawks fan who thinks like an Eagles fan.

Such a pointless thing people got worked up over. Like he was building a new wing at VMAC or something.
Remember when people lost their minds because MM took some posters down and removed the basketball hoop?

lol, lmao even

Ernest Jones lmaooooooo I love this dude.

The Panthers just love them some former Seahawks.
The Panthers are hiring Darrell Bevell as associate head coach/offensive specialist, per sources.

A longtime respected NFL assistant, Bevell brings a wealth of experience to Dave Canales’ staff as Carolina aims to take the next step.

I'm back home in Portland and it's jarring when you go from San Francisco's extreme Bay Bridge traffic to literally not a single major Portland freeway being in gridlock at 5 pm.

as someone that doesn't follow football or really fully understand all of it, i'd like to see my homie @mookiealexander.bsky.social happy with a Seahawks win.

besides, i don't want to see Dave Portnoy happy. neither should anyone else.

Week 1 was the worst week of my life.

This is the best week of my life. And I got to watch my favorite team in the Super Bowl and win it all in my hometown after being gone for 25 years.

I will cherish this forever.

How'd the other halftime show go?
February 9, 2026 at 1:36 AM
I think people here at the Emeryville watch party enjoy this halftime show.

Maybe this is what was meant when talking about the supposed societal decline of San Francisco. A Waymo and a Cybertruck together.
