Just a reminder before the “big announcement” today.

Autism was discovered in 1911 and the modern definition of Autism came in 1943.

Tylenol wasn’t widely used until the 1950s.

Anyone trying to tell you that Tylenol causes Autism isn’t someone that should be taken seriously.

WPSU is set to be the first in the country to go dark after the Trump administration stripped away federal funding for NPR and PBS.

“The news devastated me, it devastated all the employees,” said Jeff Hughes, WPSU’s former program director.

@apnews.com Have seen a lot about the term #groyper in the past couple days on my socials but not in mainstream media, including your feed.

Please cover this.

If you see something graphic a thing you can do is not instinctively hit repost but take a few seconds and consider if everyone wants to be traumatized by that and choose not to be the person who forces it into their feed non consensually.

Me to my class before a holiday:

"Have a good long weekend! Don't drink and drive, don't ride with someone who's been drinking!"

Itʻs become my holiday catch phrase & students laugh at me by the end of the semester.

But if one of them, one time, remembers, it's worth it.❤️

I’ve been thinking about how in environments under resource threats like much of education, we move forward to address the most pressing shocks to our system. Climate change is shocking school infrastructure & learning w flooding, fires, smoke, heat.

Sleepy today cause I was up late binging this new book by @tkingfisher.com. I'm a huge fan of all her work but this dark (& funny) retelling of Snow White is now solidly among my faves. & audiobook narration is on point!

Go get it, go get it, go!

When someone loses a beloved family member/friend/pet and you don't know details, please avoid saying "I hope they didn't suffer much" to the grieving person.

The intention is kind, but if there was significant pain and suffering (which happens sometimes) your words become salt in a wound.
