This week on MT, @ianlandsman.com’s so AI-pilled he thinks that every night, before you go to bed, you should be kicking off a deep research task for AI to do while you sleep.

At the very minimum!

It’s time to think businessy!

Just don’t go get an MBA (according to @aaronfrancis.com)!

If you're not getting things from the LLM that you weren't looking for (in a good way) you're not using them correctly bsky.app/profile/mike...
Fwiw I think this is actually backwards. My experience with LLMs has been that they are actually*incredibly* good at precisely this thing, and that this may in fact be one of their most beneficial aspects.
Not a historian but like to research. The AI might summarize what I'm looking for, but it doesn't find what I'm *not* looking for. The book on the shelf next to the one I wanted. The insight in chapter 6 based on the quote I needed from chapter 4.

The blatant selling of pardons is perhaps the clearest instance of criminal conduct authorized by SCOTUS. Pardons are a quintessential "official act." So, even when Trump takes a bribe to issue one, he is presumably above the criminal law.

It's funny how us parochial Americans generally seem to perceive that the EV revolution is stalling or reversing when in fact it's accelerating rapidly worldwide. 25% of cars sold globally in 2025 were EVs!

It's mostly just the US that's being left behind

This week on MT, @aaronfrancis.com's AI lifestyle is so all consuming, he's falling asleep in bed while AI agents are working on his behalf.

And you know what?

@ianlandsman.com is inspired!

On DOGE’s watch, federal spending did not go down at all. It went up. But is still led to cuts that closed offices, canceled programs and deprived people of food, medicine and other aid.

This is going to sound crazy, but in the age of AI I think it makes sense.

I want a physical laptop that has two independent computers in it. They share the screen/keyboard/power and a button lets you switch between them. One for normal use, one for AI use.

bari weiss saw this and decided that she had to hide it from the american public
Guards began beating him. Beat him until he bled. Knocked his face into the wall, broke all his teeth. No access to outdoors, no contact with relatives.

Now describing US knowledge of CECOT's torture practices, followed by footage of Trump praising those practices.
