Trump calls in to the Dan Bongino show:

"We have states that I won that show I didn't win. Now you're gonna see interesting things come out in Georgia. I won that election by so much. Everybody knows it."

Very different behavior when they don’t have a gun.
ICE agents tried to quietly get Mexican food in Minneapolis, local neighbors and protesters found out and shamed then out of the neighborhood!

Kind of weird how a man who audibly shit himself in an EO signing presser on live television is threatening a black man at the start of Black History Month.

Only a small percentage of the files have been released, with the DOJ claiming the need for time to redact.

Clearly they have not been spending their time working on the important stuff, like ensuring to not accidentally distribute CSAM of victims.
NEW: The Justice Department published dozens of unredacted images of nude women (and possibly teens) as part of its Epstein release.

The faces of those people were also left unredacted.

This is all because some dickheads took Roko's Basilisk too seriously and thought they had to get ahead of some dreadful machine god, and they ended up creating a bunch of corpo-jargon-spewing Yes Men.

JUST IN: Democrats flip a red seat in the Texas Senate.

Taylor Rehmet wins against Leigh Wambsganss, a conservative activist who helped lead right-wing efforts to take over TX school boards.

With all early vote, and 95% of precincts, in, Dem up 57/43.

Trump won this seat by 17% in Tarrant County.

Of all the depressing bullshit happening these days, the new cycle of "DOJ releases a fraction of the Epstein Files and we all get to learn who contributed to making our present hell a reality" is getting to be my least favorite quarterly event.

Apparently hamfisted bad faith arguments from a government counsel repeating themselves have better merit with the 8th Circuit.
BREAKING: Judge Katherine Menendez denies Minnesota, Minneapolis, and St. Paul’s request for a TRO or preliminary injunction blocking the Trump administration’s Operation Metro Surge on Tenth Amendment grounds.

How are you supposed to explain to people how this entire social, political, and economic reality is entirely downstream from anime getting banned on some dipshit's forum 25ish years ago
So apparently I was right to shittalk m00t this week because it's been revealed that his boneheaded decision to establish /pol/ and subsequently ruin the website was allegedly born out of a one-on-one meeting with Jeffery Epstein.

Completely shocked by the sudden loss of Catherine O’Hara, one of the funniest and most talented people on this planet.

BREAKING: Judge Margaret Garnett tosses out the murder count faced by Luigi Mangione in federal court, with the "practical effect" that he cannot face the death penalty.

This is, Garnett writes, a result of her application of the "categorical approach" employed by the Supreme Court to his case.

I don’t want to think about Trump’s latest post about Alex Pretti, but we all must, esp. as funding discussions continue.

The president is talking about the “stock” of a man subjected to an extrajudicial killing by federal agents who threw him to the ground and shot him repeatedly in the back.

Graham wants the jackpot provision, caught in November 2025 during the end-of-year shutdown fight, kept into the latest funding package, because despite the fight against ICE funding and calls for Noem and Miller to be ousted he's still thinking about himself.
NO SENATE VOTE TONIGHT

Couldn’t get all senators to allow a speedy vote. Schumer tells reporters Lindsey Graham is blocking it. “That’s the holdup,” Schumer tells reporters. Graham wants to keep a provision letting him sue to pocket $500,000 over J6 phone records seized.

The kidnapping op in Venezuela killed more than 100 people, led to roving gangs detaining people and questioning whether or not they were American, and hasn't yet produced any meaningful change in Venezuelan politics.

It also implies DHS was ordered to approach Minnesota like a regime change.
This is so unhinged

DHS: We're law enforcement
Media: They're law enforcement
ICE/CBP: (engages in months-long, multi-city campaigns of occupation and violent aggression that far exceed enforcing immigration law, including murder and execution)
Media: ...they're still law enforcement
Federal immigration officers across the country are newly equipped with an array of state-of-the-art surveillance technologies, thanks to a bill that transformed ICE into the country’s most highly funded law enforcement agency.

Here’s a look at their arsenal:
The powerful tools in ICE’s arsenal to track suspects — and protesters
Biometric trackers, cellphone location databases and drones are among the surveillance technologies agents are using in their immigration enforcement campaign.

This has generally been the response whenever I've asked military people to review domestic police raids. But the stuff we're seeing from ICE and Border Patrol is especially bumbling and amateurish thuggery.
