Happy to have Senators Murray representing Washington State in these moments. The GOP doesn’t care about poor or working class people.
I will not let people forget that the same Republicans who did everything in their power to make tax breaks for billionaires PERMANENT refused to even negotiate ONE YEAR of health care tax credits for working families.

I’m happy that our Senators are holding the line to protect our healthcare and won’t back down. Republicans need to start representing the working class instead of billionaires.
Trump could not care less about ending this shutdown, keep health care costs from spiking, or making sure kids and families don’t go hungry.

He has been infinitely more focused on building his ballroom than helping your family.
The Missing President
Trump has been busy with everything but the government shutdown.

Nobel committee has some explaining to do.
Nobel Peace Prize recipient María Corina Machado appeared on Donald Trump Jr.’s podcast.

She touted the oil reserves in Venezuela (the largest in the world) and vowed to privatize the oil industry to enable American corporations to exploit and profit from the country’s resources if she gains power.

“Former aide to Senator Harry Reid wants to put the last nail in the coffin of the Democratic Party.” There, I fixed the title. The think tank is completely out of touch with reality and the base of the party. I’d say this was a joke, but it seems to be the norm for establishment (privileged) “Dems”

We are a country WITH immigrants. There were people here before colonization began, and those people and their cultures still exist.
My family escaped Ukraine from the pogroms and were lucky enough to escape to the US.

They took my family in — we had nothing and offered nothing, but a desire to get ahead and be free while being safe.

This is a country of immigrants, and we should be honoring that history.

We need an HHS Secretary who respects science and does not make policy based on conspiracy theories.

Vaccines are safe and effective.

Kennedy is threatening the health of our kids and all Americans.

He must resign.

I'm sorry Congresswoman. You can't simultaneously declare your objection to sweeps while also endorsing a mayor in your own city who has aggressively swept your constituents and slow-walked any meaningful expansion of services. 🤦🏽‍♀️

In partnership with Chief Seattle Club and North Seattle College, we're excited to develop Thunderbird Nest in the Licton Springs neighborhood. The mixed-use building will hold apartment homes for individuals and families (40% of homes will have 2-4 bedrooms!), and a ground-floor education space.

I’m happy to see that Representative Pollet, Representative Farivar, and State Senator Valdez all signed onto this letter. Reinstating the lease would a great first step for CM Moore and Mayor Harrell to rectify their transgressions against our communities.
Proud to join my colleagues from across the area calling on Mayor Harrell, Councilmember Moore, and the KCRHA to sign the lease and let Tent City 4 move into the Lake Cith Community Center — as has been planned for more than a year before Seattle abruptly cancelled the planned lease #Seattle

So thrilled to support Vivian Song for school board! She has the financial expertise, knowledge of SPS, interest in collaborating to solve difficult problems, and belief that families and communities deserve honesty and transparency—this is all very needed to help oversee Seattle Public Schools!
After resigning her seat last year following a move out of her district boundary, Vivian Song launched her campaign Tuesday to return to the Seattle School Board, seeking the District 5 (Capitol Hill) seat held by outgoing incumbent Michelle Sarju.

As is the gross mischaracterization, stemming from complete ignorance on RFK’s part wasn’t enough. Creating a registry!? WTF. None of this is okay.
RFK Jr. talks about people with autism in such degrading and dehumanizing terms as if they were unproductive parasites. Then he wants to put them on a government registry?
