Bellwether Housing provides affordable housing in urban King County, WA, serving 6,000 residents each year. Located near public transit, jobs, great schools, and community resources, our apartments are more than a home, they are a door to opportunity.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Frank Chopp. Under his leadership, access to affordable housing expanded statewide, opportunities for homeownership grew in marginalized communities, and support was secured for people with disabilities. Frank's impact will endure for generations.

The Evergreen Impact Housing Fund released a video that features one of our buildings and tells a resident's story. The Aries is the first project funded by EIHF to open to residents, proving that innovative financing can boost the supply of much-needed housing.

In partnership with Chief Seattle Club and North Seattle College, we're excited to develop Thunderbird Nest in the Licton Springs neighborhood. The mixed-use building will hold apartment homes for individuals and families (40% of homes will have 2-4 bedrooms!), and a ground-floor education space.
