We are a country WITH immigrants. There were people here before colonization began, and those people and their cultures still exist.

Sex workers relied on Backpage(dot)com to vet clients. After it shut down, sex workers had to move operations to the street, which is more dangerous for them, and more visible to our communities. What will you do to increase safety for sex workers and end trafficking, while reducing visibility?

Bruce: You have held an elected position in the city for 16/18 past years, what do you expect to accomplish in the next 4 years that you couldn’t in the previous 16?

I'm sorry Congresswoman. You can't simultaneously declare your objection to sweeps while also endorsing a mayor in your own city who has aggressively swept your constituents and slow-walked any meaningful expansion of services. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Idiocracy. The president is a moron, elected by bigger morons, who appoints roided up misogynist vol-cells, and is constantly advertising for private companies that sponsor him and his corrupt cronies. I know most people laughed when they saw Dax Shepard’s film, but I was horrified when it came out.

Licton Springs Community wants coffee shops and a small grocery. The woman presenting is doing a great job informing the people of funding requirements and why they can’t build those amenities. North Seattle College has a coffee shop with food available 5 days/week.

This is not transitional housing. Rent is required to be paid. There are not many units for people below 30%AMI. The development is trying to fill the niche of necessary low income to middle income housing for individuals and families.

Colonizers want it all!!!! They want new moms in the neighborhood to be able to access the residents secure play area. The public parks aren’t good enough.

People are concerned that they will loose their public space. They Don want to lose access to anything that residents and their families will have access to.

The Licton Springs Community Council wants to use the space for free. I guess it’s not enough that these colonizers are living on land that was taken through threats and acts of violence, they want Natives to give them more.

People want to know why the project isn’t providing street improvements. A: they aren’t warranted by the project and SDOT doesn’t require them or isn’t able to provide them.
