as we hear more reports from the dems today, it seems as though there was broader party-wide complacency than i wanted to believe, but point 2 still stands, and in fact is reinforced. let them know that they are not living this down and continue to fight for better representatives.
so, keep front of mind:
1) this was not the party as a whole, but a handful of weak wills. the majority of dems are vocally angry about it.
2) use this to fuel fires, not let them fizzle out, w/r/t supporting continued reformation of our representatives by voting in new and progressive voices.

I want Senator [NAME] to know I'm furious with the outcome of last night's vote to end the shutdown. I'm fully aware that they voted No - but Sentator [NAME] needs to know their constituents aren't stupid or gullible. It's clear that this was a decision made by the party caucus, led by Schumer, regarding who voted what way.
I'm disgusted with these antics and sick of hearing individual Senators' mealy-mouthed objections after the fact.
Put simply, I don't believe [Senator's] No vote. I don't believe they were against ending the shutdown. If they want to earn back my trust and prove to me that their vote was actually sincere, the SINGULAR way they can do that is to to call for Schumer to step down immediately.

Following up on this. This remains a ‘cave is minutes or hours away’ situation. If you want to impact how this plays out you need to contact senators literally now. I want to add additional points of context. What I’m relaying is what I’ve picked up from highly reliable sources.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.
