concept page working out designing an outfit for cillian, the knight of my prince & knight story. left side of the page shows exploration of celtic knots for a cloak clasp design; three full body sketches take up most of the canvas, with one clothed in armor and overcloak, and two with no clothing designs, just body shape and sword practice. various notes-to-self are scribbled on the canvas as i try to put straight all the thoughts i’m having about color and style, amount of armor pieces, what different parts of the design mean, etc. (apologies, i’m not gonna transcribe them atm, but if someone asks i can provide transcription!)

haven’t drawn cillian in a bit but i’ve had prince and knight on the brain again. (also i should think up a real story title)

happy to just draw a pose and have it all come out feeling at least ok; posing from memory has been one of my big tripping points in burnout.

sometimes i mutter things to myself when i lose a boss fight in silksong and imagining hornet doing the same gives me a laugh
