Should go without saying by now that after he's removed from office all of his official acts should be nullified
We found that Donald Trump has granted clemency in at least a dozen criminal cases that originated during his first term.

No president since Clinton has used clemency to erase his own appointees’ actions on such a scale.

I remember a recent Reddit post in a recruiting sub where recruiters were complaining to each other about how ghost jobs are a made up thing, and then they would all describe how they post ghost job listings along with an excuse why what they’re doing isn’t posting a ghost job when that’s all it is
Approximately 30% of all job postings are fake, with millions of ghost jobs making a tough hiring process even worse.

The Epstein scandal is a symptom of a larger disease

The capture and corruption of American politics and institutions of power has created a criminal, abusive, and degenerate class of elites who believe they are untouchable and don’t care who they hurt

it is almost as if accommodating and conceding to far right ideas legitimizes them and signals to voters that the far right is a legitimate choice for governance
The Danish Social Democrats are currently on course for their worst election result since at least the Second World War, despite their brand of far-right accommodationism being touted as a blueprint for other centre-left parties.

It’s so wild that the literal president literally raped children and the times is covering it like a horse race about optics
I fail to see how he’s bowing to reality as opposed to just changing tactics.

All he has to do if it passes the senate is to tell Bondi to say it’s all either classified or has to do with an ongoing investigation.

Maybe he’s losing his grip on the MAGA zeitgeist, but he’s firmly in control of DOJ

It is genuinely incredible to me how much evidence there is to support investing in the public good and how much animus there is to do this simple, effective thing.

The Founders were so concerned about bribery that the Constitution forbids it three separate times. Two emoluments clauses ban officials—unambiguously including the president—from accepting things of value, plus bribery is the only named impeachable offense besides treason.

Unprecedentedly corrupt.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

Important to understand the Epstein stuff and the fascism and the corruption are, in a lot of ways, really all the same story from different angles: powerful men who can and do abuse vulnerable people around them because they can, and because systems of elite accountability catastrophically failed
