My 2024 paper interrogating the intersection of AI, future forecasting, and games is now freely available online. "this paper reveals and critiques the unannounced spiritual mysticism surrounding contemporary AI and its increasing embrace within late-capitalist future forecasting". bit.ly/4h9JLLH

Losing my mind and what look like video game assets but instead were used to justify war crimes and genocide in the real world

I am intensely proud of my wife Yoko who has just had her book published! Next Wednesday, Yoko will be book signing at Kinokuniya in Sydney. Please book a seat and come along if you are in town. tinyurl.com/bdfxrs9z

Bendigo Writers Fest confirms that 59% of speakers withdrew.
What an own goal.
I hope those responsible for trying to silence writers are feeling good about themselves. Wrecked an important cultural institution.

Wow! Bendigo Writers Festival (15 - 17 Aug) is making guest speakers sign a last-minute agreement to not mention Israel's genocide of Palestinians. Writers who care about human rights are cancelling. Any writer/guest still thinking of appearing should seriously reconsider. Stand up! Refuse to comply

Absolutely agreed, so the NAZIs could live with their war crimes. So they could commit a genocide but also alleviate suffering - of the Jews, but ultimatly and primarily - of themselves. But to my original point, that's not what's happening in Gaza.

Totally agree the NAZIs sought the eradication of all European Jews. Disagree the book is nonsense.

Yes, and again, see the book chapter I posted. Its freely accessible, informative, well researched. It's by Dr. Nestar Russell, a trained criminologist, and titled is "The Nazi’s Pursuit for a “Humane” Method of Killing".

I'm not talking about living conditions or scale. Im talking about death. Read the paper I posted.

The difference is the NAZI's worked to produce a humane death in the holocaust. The Israeli's have worked to produce an inhumane death in the Gaza genocide.

What an appalling place Britain has become. The sadness and shame on peoples faces; protesters, police, politicians, everyone, but the support of genocide and violent supression of its protest continues.
