I am once again reminding everyone that the President does not get to declare war, that is solely the responsibility of Congress.

I know this can sound kind of silly at a time like this, but doing a war without congressional authorization is ample grounds for impeachment

Calling Trump starting a war a “distraction” makes that word meaningless.

It’s the whole story, he flails any way he can to feel any sense of control and dominance. And he doesn’t care who he gets killed.

And millions could die because he tore up a peace deal because he didn’t make it.

There's no declaration of war, and no AUMF that covers this. Entering this war is wrong on the merits; we had a perfectly peaceful way to address Iran's nuclear program. It's also unlawful. A democratic republic should not be able to enter a war of choice on one man's say-so.
The US has hust dropped bombs on three Iranian nuclear sites, according to Trump, bringing American military forces into Israel’s war with Iran.

Wow -- in response to a question about Iran injuring US 100 troops in 2020, Trump suggests they weren't really hurt

"Because they had a headache?"

He then says "Iraq" when he means "Iran" and attacks the report who asked him the question

if Kamala Harris stumbled into saying attacks on US service members were "a very nice thing" she would be forced out of the race the very next day. With Trump it's just another day.

This doesn’t even touch on the fact that you can grieve people who are still alive, and in that case no AI generated nonsense is going to fill in that hole; want closure with an abusive parent/ex/etc? There’s no way in hell you’ll be able to duplicate those needs.
Anyone who says they want to see the “complete and total eradication of grief” vastly overrates what bots will be able to do but also speaks to how tech solutionists misunderstand what it means to exist in the world. A hollow amalgam of a loved one’s utterances can never replace what is lost.
Back from the dead: could AI end grief? – video
