I made a little coffee bean. 🧶 ☕️

I swear, I used two different yarn colors. Dark and light brown. Apparently, they weren’t different enough, because it ALL LOOKS THE SAME. 😡

Whatever. It’s fine. I’m fine.

Is bureaucratic negligence illegal, if not how do we make it that way?

I don't watch TV much anymore but I swear I've seen like 30 of these Walmart Whoville commercials already.

I’ve never donated to Wikipedia before but I set up a small monthly donation as a fuck you to the world’s richest psychopath.

If the foundation of your endeavor, no matter what it may be, is AI? I hope that shit collapses in ways that make Eldritch horrors gasp in shock.

Take time. Put in work to hone your work. Make something you’re proud of instead of slop you cobbled together through theft and pollution. Fuck.

So been tutoring a lot lately but just encountered a student that had their whole 15 page paper flagged as AI generated based on a detector multiple times despite rewrites. I don't think instructors should make students use these tools if this is the case. Especially since they use AI themselves.

I feel like cross brand marketing has gotten a bit out of control lately, especially when the brands don't seem to connect very well or are anachronistic to one another. Mostly I'm thinking of video games.

Palworld x UltraKill
Persona 5 x Overwatch
And Hunt Showdown has a Ghostface character.

reposting with alt text because this feels incredibly significant. the right-wing disinfo machine means a lot of the people grieving Charlie Kirk never heard any of the things he said that would have tarnished his brand as Guy Who Just Wants to Have Dialogue Across the Aisle

So I mostly spent the latter half of the Summer trying to build a schedule for myself. And I was starting to do really good and was writing again, but recently I pulled a muscle in my shoulder and typing and writing aggravate the pain.

So pretty much my body doesn't want me to do anything.

When we warn the real threat of AI is how it’s used against people in the present, not the fantasies that some day computers might think for themselves, this is exactly the kind of thing we’re talking about: health insurers using AI to deny care.
