Not only did the email provider that I use (besides Gmail) try to opt me into an AI "form builder," but when I declined, it is now forcing me to respond to a survey answering WHY I declined.
You can't click out of it. If you log in again, it just pops up again and blocks your emails.

Nothing radicalized me more than learning that we have SIGNIFICANTLY more empty units than homeless people. They’ve just been bought up by private equity firms and wealthy landlords.
Only other thing that radicalized me more was learning how many thousands of tons of food big chains throw away.

Exactly. They're actively absorbing resources just like land owners too. There's plenty of housing (much empty) and food. So industries that only exist for the rich that could be destroyed too.

Working 5/7 days a week your entire life instead of being able to live your life how you want to is a cruel and unusual punishment that only the ultra wealthy get to avoid, usually by pure luck and/or pure cruelty and greed.

Housing First approaches to homelessness, that prioritize getting a stable roof over people's heads before addressing trauma from the streets & other issues, prove to lead to long term stability. Rounding every homeless person up for forced mental health care which is incarceration is not the way!
I'm a mad person who's lived on the streets & knows a lot of mad people & I know that people like me are disproportionately inclined to homelessness & I don't like when that gets taken out of the conversation. But our reality is that late stage American capitalism can push anyone to the streets.

I feel like a lot of people don't grasp that "I was (terrible thing) but I changed, so can they" marks you as unsafe to communities victimized by that thing. YOU think you're safe (and you might otherwise be) but your empathic actions and words towards their victimizers makes you a gateway to risk.

I used to think a diary wouldn't help me much, but I recently made a folder in Scrivener labeled "Thoughts" where I just rant about random shit, and it has been incredibly therapeutic.

The creator calling churches and asking for help for her starving baby to test them is doing god’s work (pun intended lol), and it reveals what a lot of us already knew.
