This is an unbelievably stupid and short-sighted decision.
We need to come up with a catchy term to label these irrational positions that the MAGA cult keeps taking, the right wing alternative to "woke," decisions driven by ideology rather than science or reason.

One plus side of being in Canada is I feel like it’s a little harder to doom scroll when you keep encountering news content you can’t see because of the Meta ban on news here. Encountering roadblocks like that makes me stop.
