A British tabloid creating a non-existent story about the next Bond film without any real substance or confirmed sources? Nice to see the Amazon era is off to such a traditional start.

It’s little surprise to hear indie filmmakers are unprepared to handle a surprise success, but it’s especially unsurprising that it’s these particular filmmakers.

I bought this Grapefruit Records 3 CD comp of early Brit Power pop 3 years ago... and totally forgot about it.

Found it while doing some cleaning the other day, ripped it and have been listening to it non-stop since. Nice to finally enjoy it (it's terrific).

Well worth noting the number of women who made strong features post-#MeToo (several of them indie hits) who either have not gotten a second film off the ground or are still doing indies.
She's absolutely right. As a producer with several films in development with female directors, I can say it is an absolute uphill battle to get execs to fund their projects. Great scripts are sitting on shelves while a generation of our most talented women sit idle.

SO fucking glad to not have to see these stupid things in my area any more. One jerk the next town over has kept his sign up since *2021*.

There were so many that I was genuinely concerned she wasn't gonna pull it off or if it was just my county (which he almost won). Happy to be proven wrong.
