Preliminary human bird flu case reported in Washington state

My video about how LLMs are not search engines has led to many, MANY comments telling me that I should be using Perplexity. Some insisting that Perplexity does not hallucinate.

Out of a list of 26 papers it just provided me (in "Research" mode) 4 were real. FOUR. 85% hallucination rate.

The statement says 'these [mRNA] vaccines fail to protect effectively against upper respiratory infections.'

'Protect' against what endpoint?
Death, hospitalization, poor seroconversion, incubation time, transmission?

Cause 1-3 is pretty good, and 4-5 is poorer.
But that is universal virology.

I believe one of the new mRNA vaccines was expected to treat colon cancer, and another had the potential to keep pancreatic cancer from recurring. That’s what they’re taking away.
