So... I realized I haven't made an introduction on Bluesky yet, but what the hey, lets do it now!

I'm Hirunda, I like making things (mostly video game things). I use to do a lot of LittleBigPlanet but now I'm into GameDev proper

Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.

They try to downplay this on the Steam store page by describing the AI usage as vaguely as possible.

Got back into some #gamedev, trying out Unreal by remaking a student game I made in Unity.

Getting most of the player movement down is a great step. Hoping today I can get animations in so that it can look nice

New PC case finally arrived so time to do some major surgery.

Photos are before I transplant the Motherboard in. Rn just need to screw it in
Old PC lying on my bed. The GPU and wifi card have been removed and miscellaneous things are scattered around it. There may be a copious amount of dust New PC case, panels removed, on my desk. Nothing is in it for the moment
