the biggest con the modern world has pulled is convincing us that the economy is how well the government's bank balance looks and not, you know, how well the people are doing economically and how much spending power they have

the thing about language in music is that, if you wanna listen to people sing pop music in english, you can go anywhere. japanese and korean are also very well represented
but to hear people sing pop music in other languages like Norsk or Gaelic or Thai is a really good thing for culture
