The topics range from the difficulty of measuring biodiversity to the different emotions about or with biodiversity. Thanks to the brilliant input from early career scientists, it became both an introduction to the topic of biodiversity change and a plea for interdisciplinary collaboration.

First time I saw Jack deJohnette live, almost 40 years ago, was in Vienna, an outerworldly concert with Jarrett and Peacock, but most impressive was this melodious drummer hovering over his drum set to effortlessly paint rhythms. A genius will be missed.
