When I decided to openly disclose my #ADHD 1/2 year ago, early career scientists started asking me for tips & how did I reconcile (undiagnosed) #ADHD with a science career. It’s been a long learning journey and some of it is laid out here: www.nature.com/articles/d41...

Over the past two years, the land carbon sink appears to have weakened dramatically, driving the largest one year jump in atmospheric CO2 on record in 2024. Is this the end of the land carbon sink? I asked around for @newscientist.com.
One of Earth’s most vital carbon sinks is faltering. Can we save it?
For decades, forest, grasslands and other land ecosystems have collectively absorbed up to a third of the carbon dioxide we emit each yearβ€―- but this climate buffer may be collapsing far sooner than a...

I was having a panic attack at London Paddington due to a series of train cancellations and delays that were going to make me miss my flight. A super kind and experienced security officer took me by the hand, helped me through breathing exercises to calm down, when no one else seemed to care.

Today, this little piece of cloth saved my trip back home from a week of workshops on wildfire modeling πŸ”₯ if you want to learn how the hidden disabilities lanyard might improve #neuroinclusion and accessibility for #neurodivergent #AuDHD folks, read more below
