Rupert Lowe has received an enthusiastic endorsement from Martin Sellner, the Austrian founder of Generation Identity.

Sellner was an active neo-nazi as a young man, getting convicted for putting a swastika on a synagogue, to show support for David Irving, but says he left that scene behind.

Tyreece John-Jules scores a cracking goal against Celtic, which isn't the reason I'm posting it - it's because he's the nephew of Cat from Red Dwarf!

Give this a listen if you're interested in thinking a bit more about the highly disordered, dangerous minds that are in the process of destroying democracy - and their spineless enablers (did a name come to mind there).

Remember how I spent the last ten years saying the problem is the Thatcherite consensus going kaboom forever in 2008, and the entire political/media class hunkering down in a defensive circle around its flaming corpse, all guns pointed outwards? The editor of the New Statesman seems to agree.

A brilliant explanation of authoritarian follower thinking. This is important!
This is actually quite brilliant, up to and including the final sentence 🔥

As tragic as it undoubtedly is when school children are stabbed - and of course it should be reported - while unscrupulous exploitative politicians are punting myths about increasing crime, perhaps the news could give a little context? Two children were stabbed but over 10 million weren't. Good odds

For the love of God, man, if you don't bugger off soon the country you love will be handed over to fascists. England is crashing in slow motion but there's still time to stop it if you let someone else take the wheel and choose a different road.

Starmer says he 'will never walk away from the country I love' after thanking cabinet for support
The PM was speaking to the public in Hertfordshire about the cost of living - he earlier met his cabinet in London and thanked them for backing him.

Finally ending my Star Wars viewing with the final film in the series, The Last Jedi.

Crazy a follow up didn't end up happening. Probably for the best. Rian Johnson set the standard way too high and considering he's unlikely to stop doing Knives Out, following it up would be too big a task.

A culture cannot evolve without honest, powerful storytelling. When a society repeatedly experiences glossy, hollowed-out, pseudo-stories, it degenerates. We need true satires, tragedies, & comedies that shine a clean light into dingy corners of the human psyche & society.~Robert McKee

Most of our mental activity is an attempt to prove that we exist, that we are something solid, and that we are okay. Ego maintains itself through the endless self-talk of the busy mind, which covers up any gaps or open spaces in the mindstream.~John Welwood

This is amusingly ironic - at least to me - when you consider the crippling issues the Soviet Union had with logistics over vast distances and centralisation.

But of course, the comment is completely meaningless, just evoking a bogey man in an inappropriate context.
Ok, let’s do this🙄

We’ll start with an explainer covering:

🕒What is a 15-minute city
🏫What on Earth is going on with Oxford
👽Where the conspiracy theories have come from

And then we’ll look at the Telegraph article
