NEW: ICE Confiscates Children's Letters at Dilley Concentration Camp. I've filed a FOIA Request to Get Them
ProPublica recently published heart-wrenching letters from children at Dilley. ICE then raided the dormitories to confiscate and destroy those letters. I've filed a Freedom of Information Act Request.

I'm so old I remember when people said this idea was farfetched hysteria and would never happen.
“Here’s the bottom line: DHS is buying warehouses across the country to build out concentration camps for caging and deporting immigrants, and WEXMAC TITUS is allowing them to be operational in a matter of weeks.”
For ICE to build concentration camps quickly, they're leaning on this Dept. of War program

dropped an extremely accurate use of 'exponential'
appreciate the congrats
No one should be commenting on censorship or free inquiry and expression in the year 2026 without taking a stand against Carr weaponizing the FCC to block political speech he and Trump don’t like.

It is jawboning on steroids, 10 to the power of jawboning. Exponential jawboning.

DO NOT LOOK AWAY.

Two-month old babies, choking on their own vomit while detained by ICE? I can't even believe I typed that sentence.

MAGA, you can't keep clinging to your "oh, they need to come here legally" bullshit. These are BABIES.

Where is the humanity?
Shut these concentration camps DOWN.

The pilot came out of cockpit to see what was happening & Lewandowski insisted plane return to collect Noem's items

When he refused, Lewandowski announced he was fired"
Noem's use of Coast Guard resources strains her relationship with the military branch, sources say
Some early decisions by the homeland security secretary, including to divert Coast Guard resources from a search and rescue mission to the deportation of immigrants, set the tone early.

Somebody explain to me why I ever need to see Kevin O'Leary or hear his dumbass opinions in any rational space of civil discourse.

He's a professional gadfly and shit disturber. That means he's loud, not knowledgeable.

This news doesn't square well with stories of Noem and Lewandowski using expensive new taxpayer-funded jets to gallivant around with special blankies, exploring their love for each other while ruining so many lives.
How is it possible that Kristi Noem still has this job. Imagine if you’re a family member or a shipmate of this guardsman.

⚠️ Eighteen people in Texas remain in jail after being accused of “providing material support for terrorism” for participating in an anti-ICE protest.

The case is intended to set a precedent criminalizing protest.

Jury selection begins for a trial involving nine of the defendants on February 17th.
Pay attention to the Prairieland case.

By saddling the defendants with indiscriminate charges, holding them without bail, and isolating them from lawyers and the public, prosecutors are attempting to terrorize them into signing guilty pleas in order to set a precedent criminalizing dissent itself.
The Road to Prairieland
The crackdown on anti-ICE activists in Texas reflects a pattern of intensifying repression all around the country.

A recent study showed that Mars was warm and wet billions of years ago. The finding contrasts with another theory that this era was mainly cold and icy. The result has implications for the idea that life could have developed on the planet at this time.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
