As a direct result of the obscene actions of Russell Vought and Elon Musk in destroying USAID, we can expect “at least 9.4 million additional deaths by 2030, if the current funding trend continues.

About 2.5 million of those deaths are projected to be children under the age of 5.”

It’s a little blackpilling to me that people have totally retconned the 2016 primary after 8 years of endless relitigation. HRC, say what you will about her, was widely derided in the press for her focus on “identity politics” and Bernie told Vox that “open borders is a Koch bros. proposal”
you know I was re-watching some old Hillary Clinton stuff (people fucked up big time) and I'm struck by how "woke" it is, how much stress she puts not just on women, but Black Americans, Hispanic, Gay, she had a gay couple getting married and a Spanish speaking new business in her launch video

Are you delusional?

Sigh…

I’m just gonna assume you don’t live here or you live under a rock.

Do you know how much of a lightning rod AOC and other progressive politicians are outside of blue areas?

I’ve been doing voter outreach for 10+ years now and it hasn’t gotten any better.

Did you know
I dunno. A lot of people don’t like standard democrats. AOC or any of the progressives will wipe the floor with the right. The democrats need to live in reality and people deserve a real government that truly wants to help as many people as possible.

that Democrats on the ground in Georgia had to tell AOC and other progressives to stay away when Ossoff & Warnock were running?

Republicans literally had her face printed on door flyers to scare the shit out of potential voters.

Guess what…we won both senate seats & the electoral college votes.

Honestly it's the mindset of "my ideas can't win in a democracy" that caused Republicans to lose that shit too. They saw Obama not just win in 2008 in big numbers but also win again in 2012 so they decided Democracy allowing a black man win was too much for them!

"I live in a democracy but the candidates I like rarely win. Therefore, democracy is of no use to me." is the basis of way too much leftist thought on here and frankly we need to do a lot better job shutting these people down and shaming them for it than we've been doing.

I still need someone to explain why a bunch of sexual assault victims voted for the man protecting their abusers instead of a woman who literally prosecuted sexual predators when she was an attorney general.
“You are our president. Please start acting like it. Show some class. Show some real leadership. Show that you actually care about the people other than yourself. I voted for you, but your behavior on this issue has been a national embarrassment.”

Actually, I already know. Like most white voters, they chose whiteness over competence.

This person thinks doing nothing is powerful.
I find it interesting that you think withholding of a vote, the most powerful thing one can do in electoral politics, is doing nothing.

Further I've seen how leftists are treated by the "coalition" when they DO hold their noses and vote. I can see why they turned away.

This should be one of the biggest land-use planning controversies in United States history. And that’s saying something.

If you know anyone who has doubted that the cruelty is the point, please share this with them.

These people have not just turned cruel. Their behaviors would lead you to believe they were bullies in school, that they tortured animals, that they took glee in making classmates fear and loath them.
On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

“Democrats didn’t really do a thing because conservatives can pass laws that undercut the thing at the state level & conservatives control the courts” is not an argument against a thing Democrats did. It’s further evidence the problem is Republicans. 🤷‍♂️
