I agree, but we also have to acknowledge how many Indigenous journalists that currently exist and remain unemployed or dependent upon freelance work because of discriminatory hiring practices in newsrooms. Even when hired, Indigenous journalists have to fight to cover Indigenous beats.

Stop misrepresenting what LLMs are. They can’t betray you. They don’t think, they don’t feel, they aren’t sentient.

I have empathy for someone who is hurting but it’s so severely irresponsible to report on it this way. It further normalizes the thinking that an LLM can have personhood. Come on
