I'm going to watch this on the strength of the artwork alone.
I don't know who is all watching this, but it's pretty good.

The fact that the BBC has made serious culpable errors does not negate the point that there is a real and concerted right-wing media campaign to destroy it. Both points can be true at the same time and the campaign would not end even if the errors did.

I’ve just announced I’ll be leading a National Emergency Briefing on 27 November . At a time when climate is in free fall on the political agenda , it’s vital our leaders realise what is at stake if we do not accelerate a just , green transition for all .

I had a punk party aged 9 where every single present was Adam Ant themed - pillows, pencils and pencil cases, notebooks, records. Every school disco had an Adam Ant dancing contest. What a star.
Also, he was ridiculously beautiful in an era which had a larger-than-average share of beautiful pop stars (even allowing for the Aqua-Net dependent hairstyles)

I've never done this on social media before but...

...my brilliant assistant is moving on to pastures new after three years. I am looking for someone to help me out. They need to be able to *get to North London easily, regularly*, energetic (it's often a dashing-around/carrying stuff job)...

I will never tell this Kate Bush story again. I can't.
This is SO GOOD by @heawood.bsky.social on Lily Allen’s new album, and Lily Allen full stop. I am vicariously living the pain of that Kate Bush anecdote. open.substack.com/pub/heawood/...

A nicer side of it getting dark earlier now is that its easier to pay a visit to Theydon Bois, the village on the Central line that doesn't have any street lights.

It's a magical place to visit.

Theydon Bois – the town with no street lights
Theydon Bois, on the edge of northeast London, is remarkable for something very special -- the near total absence of any street lighting.

The shite house
This is insane.

“It won’t interfere with the current building. It’ll be near it but not touching it — and pays total respect to the existing building, which I’m the biggest fan of," Trump said in July. “It’s my favorite. It’s my favorite place. I love it.”

White House begins demolishing East Wing facade to build Trump’s ballroom
The president had claimed construction of the $250 million ballroom wouldn’t ‘interfere’ with the existing White House structure.

This is happening up and down the country. It's heartbreaking and the Government needs to join the dots.
A report on tonight’s Channel 4 News about the devastating funding cuts at Arthur Rank Hospice in Cambridge. It is unconscionable to reduce access to palliative care while simultaneously contemplating the legalisation of medically assisted suicide. www.channel4.com/news/budget-...

Imagine you're in a weird romcom where Paul Hollywood is your rival. Do you go "let's have a bread baking competition" or do you emphasise your own relative strengths?

Because that in short has been the central problem with the traditional two's approach to anti-immigration voters and Reform UK.
