Have dipped into a lot of fantasy and sci-fi universes in my reading, but this is one of the ones I most often catch myself thinking about after the fact.

Aside from the stretches where Rich Hill was getting another chance, Verlander has been the only active player older than me for the past few seasons and I hope he plays forever.
