The Keystone pipeline system, which carries crude oil from Canada to the U.S., was shut down on Tuesday because of a leak that spilled an estimated 3,500 barrels of oil in southeastern North Dakota, government and company officials said.

I know we’re dunking people for talking about tariffs instead of our democracy, but it’s winter in Maine and oil bills are about to go up 25%, housing costs that have doubled in four years, eggs are 4x as expensive as a year ago if you can find them, and electricity costs 2x the national average.

My son’s teachers told me he was the best in the class at cleaning up after himself. “We don’t even have to ask!” This child has never once cleaned up anything on his own at home???
One nice thing about childcare is it helps uncover your children’s scams. My 3yo, who always insists I cut up her sandwiches, looked like I’d caught her hosting a kegger when I walked in to find her taking a big bite of a whole grilled cheese.
