My children know "I'm sorry" are some of the most important words we can say to other people when. But apparently using slurs is okay and good and saying you're sorry when called out is "cult nonsense." According to Will.

It's wild because all you really have to say is "I like the parts of the Declaration that talk about freedom and equality and wish we could drop the racist stuff." But apparently digging yourself into a deeper hole where you deny the FFs committed genocide against Native Americans is easier.
One can accept the realities of genocide committed in North America AND argue that it wasn’t the “intent” of all founding fathers. Have a good day.

Why? We have documentation from the Founding Fathers where they speak about BIPOC people as if they're a lesser breed of human or an animal meant to be used and abused. Why would I deny literal reality?

The far left uses the rhetorical tricks of children, but thinks they are clever and righteous, instead of actually courageously wrestling with the fact that nobody is perfect, and you have to do the best you can IF you care more about helping people than being more pure than your lefty friends.

I think it's this weird obsession with productivity Capitalism has given us. Like yeah, obviously don't be high 24/7. Take care of your kids, take care of yourself, etc. But like, I'm not a bad person for taking half an edible and watching shit TV for half an hour to detox before bed.
