Inspired from a post by @pikat.io, I thought I'd explain why I'm here.

I realised I was spending far too much time feeding Musk's trolls. I had become this guy, and I don't want to be this guy anymore:

Reform UK are presenting themselves as an insurgent political party, yet their adoption of former Conservatives shows they are nothing more than the 'Tories in disguise'.

I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that the BBC is beyond redemption.

I'm also rapidly coming to the conclusion that @robinince.bsky.social is a shining example of everything we should aspire to...
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

I agree. It's time to #MakeVotesMatter.
Our voting system is broken.

It's time for a change that truly reflects what voters want.

The silent majority of British people are crying out for politicians to come up with practical solutions on immigration.

That means recruiting more caseworkers, getting the backlog down, letting asylum seekers work and pay their way and creating safe and legal routes for refugees.

@martinlewis.moneysavingexpert.com

I've just seen an utterly disgraceful AI-generated scam ad using your voice & likeness on YouTube. Unfortunately I couldn't report it.

The ad made no mention of who was behind it; it simply had a QR code that "you" urged people to scan.

As you've disabled replies and quote posts on this, here's my take:

1. Vandalism of this nature is wrong.

2. Organisations like Policy Exchange shouldn't exist unless they're completely open about who funds them.

Another day, another wildly misleading Daily Mail headline.

I mean, it certainly would be headline worthy if police had turned up and accused her of committing a crime by writing innocent FB posts.

But that's not what happened…
