Some friends of mine (that I know in person! can vouch!) really could use some help keeping their housing (and their pets!) while they right themselves through a rough patch. It's relatively small ask, $-wise, so maybe some of you could help out too? gofund.me/de6e8b203

I haven’t seen a single word written about the Superbowl’s most important element – the adverts! Has Bad Bunny destroyed capitalism?

We’re in Marks and Spencer café. It’s big and full and, apart from a little girl in a Bluey onesie, we’re the youngest people here.

In the indoor market I saw a lad with a hi-top fade so good that I wanted to congratulate him on it, but he seemed to be enjoying his video call so I didn’t bother him.

Mum was perplexed by the sixteen-pack of Andrex Ultimate Quilt toilet rolls and the bag of Simply Roasted sea salt crisps in her grocery order. She’d only requested nine toilet rolls, but the sixteen-packs were on offer and the nines weren’t. The crisps, I explained, were an impulse purchase.

An amazing assertion I remember from Twitter, pretty much word for word: Milo* can’t be racist because he’s gay and gay people are oppressed and racism is oppression and the oppressed can’t be the oppressor.

Beetrooted my sweatshirt with the napkin I used to wipe beetroot off my face. Gave it (sweatshirt) a good scrub with a damp cloth that turned out to be a bit smelly. Unsatisfactory.
