Good riddance. Should never have been in the party in the first place.

You really need to stop digging. You're now Yaxley-Lennon with a red rosette.
November 16, 2025 at 12:17 PM
You must be really proud...
November 16, 2025 at 11:40 AM
You really want Farage to be the next PM, don't you?
November 16, 2025 at 8:43 AM
Congratulations Liam. Such recognition is well deserved.

Ooh, I love a drop of Pride when I'm in London. I don't get down there very often though...

Can confirm it's not me, because nobody knows me as "Steve, from the pub"...
November 7, 2025 at 9:53 AM
Any chance of actually engaging rather than posting a sarcastic eyeroll?
November 1, 2025 at 12:30 AM
You could argue that they've gone from promoting thinness to promoting thinness (with a brief spell of relative sanity in between), which would indeed make it a 360...

...but unfortunately the Graun hasn't made that argument and you are therefore 100% correct.

Lib Dems could do more on Social media for sure.

However, it's no substitute for putting in the legwork and knocking on doors. Real-life conversations make all the difference.
November 1, 2025 at 12:15 AM
The "two party system" was smashed last year.

If 46 Labour MPs defected, the Lib Dems would be the official Opposition (and Labour would still have a very sizeable majority).

And guess who's winning most of the council by-elections this year?
November 1, 2025 at 12:11 AM
Selection criteria depends on the polling company - they usually disclose it on their website.

I'd love to see some polling that properly examines whether people would consider voting tactically, why, and who they'd consider voting for.

He's right, but for the wrong reason.

We've had too many "unifiers" legitimising the loathsome toad.
October 24, 2025 at 11:15 PM
Voters don't necessarily lie. When asked who they would vote for in a hypothetical election, they tend to tell the truth.

That doesn't reflect reality though. When push comes to shove, there are plenty who will vote tactically. Most polls miss this because they ask the wrong questions.

I managed to avoid swearing in my reply...
October 24, 2025 at 10:27 PM
Ooh, that's just reminded me. I had an email from Kevin Hollinrake (via Tory HQ). I meant to post it with my reply...

Sometimes, death makes the world a better place. This is one of those times.

You clearly don't understand the first thing about Parliamentary politics. Carry on shouting into the void if you like, but I'm done lowering myself to your level.
October 7, 2025 at 2:19 PM
You claimed that by abstaining, the Lib Dems allowed the Government to "go after" PA.

So either you didn't know you came up with a steaming pile of horseshit (ignorance), or you knew it was a steaming pile of horseshit (dishonesty).
October 7, 2025 at 7:31 AM
Who said the Greens should apologise for Labour's behaviour?

CLUE: Not me.
October 7, 2025 at 7:20 AM
Well let's start with the fact that I made no such assertion. I've made it clear on numerous occasions that the blame lies with Labour.

My issue is with Polanski using it to try & score a cheap political point against his closest Parliamentary allies.
October 7, 2025 at 7:18 AM
Well in that case, you surely noticed your mutual's opening salvo, which was given the precise amount of respect it deserved.
October 7, 2025 at 7:16 AM
Well that's remarkably suspicious timing.

I smell socks...
